
Laboratory Services
RTI provides field engineering, laboratory testing, and failure analysis, including American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) accredited mechanical testing and inorganic chemical analysis procedures, to a diverse base of industry, legal, and government entities through its affiliate, Anamet, inc.
Chemical Laboratory Testing
Anamet's chemical laboratory testing includes both wet chemistry and instrument techniques:
- Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)
- Leco Carbon and Sulfur
- Vacuum Emission Spectroscopy (OES)
- X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)
Anamet, Inc. also performs: alloy certification; pH determination; anion and cation; precipitation and titration reactions; loss of ignition; specific gravity testing; melting point; and trace element analysis.
Mechanical Laboratory Testing
Anamet's mechancial laboratory testing includes both standard and custom techniques:

Anamet, Inc. also performs: bend testing; Charpy v-notch impact; compression testing; creep and stress rupture; cryogenic temperature testing; drop weight; elevated temperature testing; fatigue; fixture design and custom techniques; fracture toughness measurements; hardness and microhardness (Rockwell, Vickers, Knoop, Brinell); Izod impact; specimen heat treatment; shear testing; tensile testing; and weld procedure qualification.
Rigorous review by our quality control personnel assures reliable results and accurate interpretations. Anamet complies with nuclear requirements:
