RTI can especially assist by:

• Providing critical advice and guidance on data and document collection in support of litigation

The "Strategic Responce Council":

• The Strategic Response Council (SRC) is a panel of RTI experts who quickly provide and initial high level response to an accident or incident
  to ensure the most appropriate investigation strategy is adopted at
  the outset.
• The SRC provides critical advice and guidance on data and evidence
  collection in support of litigation and can also assist with the management
  and coordination of the investigation.
• In addition, the SRC provides enhanced opportunities for recovery and
  early settlement by developing an effective response strategy to guide
  the investigation process while protection against spoliation claims
