In order to conduct a proper and full investigation that complied with ICAO Chicago Convention, Annex 13 guidelines, the team had to meet considerable logistical and professional challenges. Two RTI aircraft accident investigation experts were dispatched to the accident site and subsequently were able to recover important evidence, including the CVR, and to provide the client with a detailed engineering and operations report, when no other agency had been able to do so.
