News: Appointment of Marine Director

RTI Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Andrew Mitchell as Marine Director. Andrew comes to RTI after a 46 year career in the marine industry seeing service with Shell Tankers and Shell Exploration. He founded a safety management consultancy in Aberdeen which was later acquired by Lloyd’s Register from where he retired in 2006. During that period he led the Lloyd’s Register activities associated with the ISM and ISPS Codes, chairing many committees and working groups.

Andrew will now head the marine division of RTI Ltd, developing the casualty investigation and marine consultancy business.
