Two (2) multispectral sensors are available. They range in the numbers of bands and resolutions topping out under 1cm per pixel.

Multispectral sensors are used widely in:

A completely integrated VNIR hyperspectral sensor for small UAV applications.

Hyperspectral sensors are used widely in:

The individual photos taken by a UAV can be corrected for the angle at which they were taken, then “stitched” together to create a single image of a larger area. These orthomosaics can be geo-referenced then overlaid on a base map.

A geometrically accurate 3-dimensional model can be created from the geo-tagged photos collected by the UAV. The 3D model can be used to measure any length, area or volume of interest – for example, the area of a roof surface. Additional uses include contour mapping and 3D simulations.

Contour maps can be created from the 3D model to help identify elevation changes across an area. For example a contour map of a large roof surface can be used to identify the direction of drainage and the amount of slope on the roof.

Fly around views and simulation of water rising during a flooding event are examples of simulations that can be created using the 3D model.
